Important- wood fuel must always be stored correctly.

Briquettes

Briquettes must be kept dry at all times, ideally inside or in a dry outbuilding. The packs of Woodlets briquettes are compact and easy to stack. Do not allow to get damp as the product will ruin.

Logs

Logs should be stored on dry surface, ideally raised off the ground for on a pallet, to prevent moisture entering.

Make sure your log store is well ventilated and if possible in the sunlight. Protect them from the elements as rain, sleet and snow will increase moisture content- a tarpaulin is ideal.

If you store logs outside then bring your logs inside at least 24 hours before you plan on burning them, as the humidity outside in winter can be up to 100%.
